Trans.

manifestation or invention?
I don't know.
But I dreamed you,
That statue of Greece,  all bronze and marble,
Now breathes perfect life into my solitude and soul.

I am a bit rusty on my French...If you speak French (or English) feel free to critique or analyze this.

I've added a few "de"s and "le"s that make it more understandable, thanks to a REAL French person, Vinceorton [link]
Thanks!

My french is very rusty I hope this came our right :juggle:
For those of you who don't speak French...
Translation?

"Poetry is about leaving your interior self-service exposed to the world. You move beyond hatred and pain. Look at yourself with new eyes. Recongnize your true individual, and see your unlimted potential."

Good job, your French isn't THAT rusty.

Well done, It's not that bad ! I'm french and I understand It but there are some words that you could add in order to make this poem perfect .

Je l'aime. hahaha I do know french, but I'm starting to run into idiomatic troubles...so I'll continue in english. anyways, I liked it, but in a way I feel that the trans lation kinda kills it. or at least takes the fun away with it being on the same page. Idk. jsut how I feel. anyways it's a lovely poem, and gives such a pretty image.
